Contents Page

In my contents page I have noticed some positive points and some negative points. I have noticed my contents page has a nice themed colour scheme which relates to the style of dresses and images. My contents is shown to have page numbers which give my audience links to the other pages and makes it easier to find out information on specific pages. The pictures are very clear and not pixelated also they are not stretched out. I have shown short simple sentences with the page numbers explaining that description. I have also shown a dateline and a quote from the singer. The sizing of my fonts are very clear and easy to read.

Looking through all the positive points about my contents page I have noticed some negative points in which if I had more time I could develop and improve them. I have noticed that my editors letter font is pushed to the side too much and should actually be in the centre. My main picture was edited too much but I think next time I would change my editing skills to a calmer scenes. Another way I can improve this is if I made some of my white text font thicker cause it is shown to be a little hard to read.

Contents Page drafts

These are drafts of the contents page I have done. I have shown a step by step on how I have improved and edited my contents page.I have changed the main image of the contents because the original picture was too dark for me so i have changed it and put on a watercolour effect on. My text is easy to read because I have made it corespond with the other pits of pink. I have even added background boxes so my magazine makes scense and it is easy to read also the font is not changed but however i have added a range of fonts anf font sizes. this was done so I can get an understanding of the fonts and so it shows which on of the main image is standing out more. I  have made sure my text is noticable and what suits this conrents page by the dress colour in the images. I have kept a strong consistant colour scheme through out the double page spread so my work is shown to be parallel and in a flow of warm summery colours. I have shown the original photo of the front cover without it edited.

Double Page Spread

In my double page spread I have noticed some positive points and some negative points. I have noticed my double page has a good solid colour scheme through out. The main image is clear and not pixelated and it fits onto my double page spread perfectly. I have added two columns which shows the interview I had with the singer's, by doing this i have also made my magazine easy to read and having a simple colour scheme  makes my font of the magazine more like an existing magazine. I have numbered the page so the page numbers can correspond with the contents. I have used big qoutes so my audience interacts straight away when they see my quotes also the font sizing of the magazine is consistant. My colour scheme is shown to be making scense. I have also  made my image realated to the text i have written.
Considering all these postive point toward my double page spread I have also noticed some negative points. One negative point in which I have noticed is that the image is a bit too dark, I can improve this by taking a picture outside of to taking a picture where there is more light. The image is shown to be fairly dark so my colour scheme is shown to be dark. One other negative point I have noticed is that I haven't added smaller pictures in my double page spread of the singers.

Double Page Spread Drafts

These are the drafts of the double page spread. I have shown how I have changed the layout and the style of the magazine I have also shown all the techniques and methods I have changed.  I have changed the fonts and text layout into columns. Some of my text is highlighed in the interview to show the keywords in which my singers say. I have made it very clear on what my singer's say and I have made sure that my text is noticable. I had trouble with my double page spread because I didn't like the style of font I had so I kept drafting my double page spread untill I was comfortable with my method and style. I have kept a strong consistant colour scheme through out the double page spread so my work is shown to be parrellel and in a flow or calm cool colours.
